The future of Beccles Market

What would you like the future of your market to be? Beccles Market will soon return to the countrol of the town council - and then it will be up to the people of Beccles to decide on its future - should it be larger, should new traders come in...what do you think? why not move market round the corner where toy box is, as there are less car parking places so then we wont lose so many places on a friday,  why take up more spaces even when there are only about 3 stalls i think this would be so much better as this is fustrating to beccles people on fridays as when there are about 3 stalls we still cant park until all stalls have been put away.think about it ?

Beccles is a much bigger town than it used to be and the people of Beccles do have money to spend if you look at the new restaurants springing up/

It would be nice is Beccles market could become a place to buy produce as well as browse art and craft stalls. Schools could have fund raising stalls and other organizations.

Food and drink stalls with a covered place to sit and eat and watch the people go buy.  A section for a farmers market would be wonderful and information stalls.

The road should be closed from the shoe shop Stead and Simpson all the way round to Barclays bank. This would give a heart to  Beccles and a reason for people to come into Beccles on a Friday.

If it became to big a smaller market could be held on Wednesday mornings, or even Wednesday afternoons when the town is usually dead.

Good Luck
