The good news is that the Maltings which have been an eyesore and informal waste tip for far too long seem to have been acquired for residential development (by people with whom I have no connections).

The bad news is that already people are talking about public meetings to oppose the plans that none of us have seen.

Come on people! Homes are needed. This is a brown field site that looks ghastly in a prominent position on the edge of Bungay. Let's welcome the possibility.
