Alerts have been issued around Norfolk as some areas could see some flooding on Christmas Day.
The Environment Agency has issued flood alerts along several rivers and coastal regions as tidal rivers have high water levels this evening (Sunday, December 24).
The tidal Rivers Bure, Ant and Thurne could all burst their banks and those living in areas around Wroxham, Stalham, Thurne and Acle have been told to avoid riverside roads and footpaths as minor flooding is likely until Wednesday, December 27.
We have a number of flood alerts in place at locations on the Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex coast this evening.

The Environment Agency said that the flooding "is due to a natural tide-locking effect where high tidal water moving up the rivers from Great Yarmouth restricts the normal drainage out to sea at low tide.
"The Broads are also impacted by high river flows and high groundwater levels, meaning that the tide-locking effect is taking longer to clear.
High water levels are also expected around Potter Heigham, Wroxham boatyards and Ferry Road in Horning.
Great Yarmouth, Brundall and Gorleston could also face flooding tomorrow, December 25, as the tidal rivers remain high following recent weather conditions.
In Suffolk, areas around the Broads including Beccles and Lowestoft are also at risk.
