Snow looks increasingly likely to fall in Suffolk this month, with forecasts showing wintery conditions are on the way.

Predictions from forecasters reveal that blasts could hit the county as part of extended blizzards across the UK.

Flurries could arrive into Suffolk overnight between Thursday, February 8, and Friday, February 9, according to WX Charts weather maps, which use Met Desk data.

More snowfall could arrive in the county in the latter part of the following week.

The charts show snow could swoop in from the west, before making its way through Suffolk.

A Met Office spokesman said: "There is a chance colder conditions could start to feature slightly more widely during the second week of February, with an increased chance of wintry weather.

"Through mid-February, there is an increasing likelihood of more winds arriving from the north which would cause a greater likelihood of wintry conditions at times, particularly in the north and east."
