Police are appealing for witnesses after a 14-year-old boy was punched in the face in Carlton Colville

The teenager had been approached by two male youths at some point between 6.30pm and 7pm on Monday, February 19 in Matlock Dale, before they took his bandanna black and white scarf without force.

The two youths then kicked the victim’s BMX bike causing him to fall off, and then punched the boy in the face, causing an injury to the bridge of his nose.

The victim fled the scene, leaving his bike behind. The bike was not stolen and was later recovered.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has knowledge of it to contact Lowestoft police on 101 quoting crime reference 37/9735/18.
