The main road from Wrentham to Southwold in Suffolk is impassable due to a jackknifed lorry trailer at South Cove.

Recovery along the B1127 is unable to start until Thursday morning.

Suffolk Police said Highways had been contacted to signpost a diversion.

“But with their current deployments due to the weather this may take some time,” said a spokesperson.

“Police are urging people to find a different route and avoid the area.”
