Beccles nursery children got into the spooky spirit this Halloween in spooktacular style.

Youngsters at Big Sky Nursery, in Station Road, spent days preparing for their Halloween party on Wednesday, October 31 - making ghoulish treats, spider hats and carving pumpkins.

Staff even set up a potion room where children could create spooky spells.

Manager Leanne Clarke said: “After two days of theming our craft activities around Halloween the children were very excited.

“They always love dressing up and we had all sorts of costumes from traditional witches and skeletons to a transformer and even a unicorn.

“They really threw themselves into the spirit of it.”

Big Sky Nurseries is a subsidiary of East Coast Community Healthcare (ECCH), the social enterprise which provides NHS community health services across Norfolk and Suffolk

The nursery was recently awarded a Good rating during its first Ofsted inspection with the report stating: “Children build secure attachments with staff, which helps them feel safe and secure in their environment.”
