A man in his 70s has been airlifted to hospital this afternoon after injuring his hand in Bramfield, near Halesworth.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance was called at around 1pm to the man who had injured his hand in a lawn mower.

Captain Steve Norris landed the aircraft close to Halesworth Golf Club.

EAAA crew members Dr Katalin Fernando and EEAST critical care paramedic Andy Downes assessed the patient before providing him with pain relief.

He was then flown, in Anglia One, to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.
