Trains to and from Lowestoft are being delayed because of a fault with a river swing bridge.

Greater Anglia has reported that the bridge near Oulton Broad South had suffered a fault, resulting in short notice delays, cancellations and amendments.

A spokesman said all stations between Lowestoft and Oulton Broad South would not be served while the issue was ongoing.

Network Rail staff are on their way to the fault, where they will be working to repair the problem.

Replacement buses have been requested between the two stations.

The issue is also causing some delays and short-notice cancellations to services from the station to Ipswich.

Disruption is expected until 2pm.
