Firefighters tackle north Suffolk field blaze

FIREFIGHTERS from Wrentham and Southwold spent more than 25 minutes tackling a field that was ablaze in Uggeshall.
Two crews were sent out at 6.05pm last night (Saturday) to Clay Common Lane in Uggeshall. On arrival they discovered an “area of stubble measuring 8m by 10m” of the field that was ablaze.
Firefighters quickly tackled the flames and the scene was cleared just after 6.30pm, with both crews back at their base by 6.55pm.
