Circumstances surrounding the death of a young motorcyclist could be dealt with by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).

Jack Rogers, 25, died on July 6 2017 in a two-vehicle collision on the A146 at Chedgrave near to the junction with Norwich Road.

He was riding a Suzuki GSX-R motorbike which collided with a blue Vauxhall Vectra which had turned right, according to area coroner Yvonne Blake.

During a pre-inquest review on January 29 in Norwich, Ms Blake said: “There were numerous witnesses. Once complete, a file will go to the CPS for a prosecution. This may take several months.”

Another pre-inquest review into the incident will take place on April 30.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, and anyone who may have witnessed the collision, has dash cam footage or may have seen the driving manner of either vehicle, should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.
