It happened at a home in Hawthorne Close, between 10am on Tuesday, February 7, and 2.20pm on Saturday, February 11.

A rear door was forced open and jewellery was taken. Officers want to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area during the relevant times, or anyone with any information about the burglary.

Two suspicious vehicles were seen nearby. The first was an old-style, black Renault, thought to be around 12 years old. It was seen driving slowly past the house with three male youths inside. The second was an old silver Ford Focus or Mondeo, which was seen parked in a lay-by with a 45-year-old man wearing a flat cap in the driver’s seat.

Calls should be made to DC Pete Williams at Norwich CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
