Police appeal for witnesses after damage is caused at Plough and Sail pub

Witnesses are being sought after glasses were smashed and a shelf was damaged at a popular pub.

A window at the front of the Plough and Sail pub in Kirkley was also smashed and the front door of the pub was also damaged during the incident on Saturday, February 23 at about 10.30pm.

A 35-year-old woman and a 37-year-old woman had been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and on suspicion of assault respectively in connection with the incident, but both have since been released without charge.
