Officers are appealing for help in finding a wanted man who is on the sex offenders register.

Jason Hennessy, 40, is wanted for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements having neglected to register a new address.

Attempts to locate Hennessy, also known as Jason McGrory, have so far been unsuccessful. He is known to have links to the Lowestoft area, as well as Ipswich, Colchester and Chelmsford, while he has previously been part of the rough sleeper community.

Hennessy, who is being tracked by Essex Police, is described as being about 5ft 10in tall and of a medium build. He has a half skull-half smiley face tattoo on his upper right arm and the word ‘EIRE’ on his left bicep. He may also be going by a different name.

Anyone who has seen Hennessy or has information about his whereabouts should contact DS Karen Miller at Essex Police’s Crime and Public Protection Command on 101,

Alternatively you can provide information to the charity Crimestoppers by visiting their website or calling 0800 555 111.
