Pupils and staff from Saint Felix School mark Commonwealth Day with a special ceremony at Westminster Abbey
Pupils and teachers from Saint Felix School have enjoyed a special Commonwealth Day by joining with members of the Royal Family and Olympic stars to mark the occasion.
On Monday (March 13) a group of staff and pupils from the Reydon-based school, attended the Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey.
The unique opportunity came as a result of the school successfully gaining tickets after entering a ballot several months ago.
During the service, pupils were able to see dignitaries process in front of them including HRH The Queen, head of the Commonwealth, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, HRH The Prince of Wales and the HRH The Duchess of Cornwall and Prime Minister Theresa May.
As well as witnessing the procession of the flags of the 52 Commonwealth nations and hearing addresses from the many dignities in attendance.
The icing on the cake for two Year Six girls was getting their Order of Services signed by Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill.
