So that was Burton. Any excitement garnered from visiting a ground that Norwich City had never played at before quickly gave way to an all too familiar knot in the stomach.

Another week and another four valuable points for City, although a realistic assessment would be that this is still a side capable of overwhelming the weaker teams on its day, but with fundamental defensive frailties which can be ruthlessly exposed by opponents with more quality.

Half a century ago today, what was then considered a minor miracle occurred at Old Trafford.

Norwich

It was a random fixture change. An exciting fixture too. The prospect of Norwich City taking on Huddersfield under floodlights and in front of the live Sky Sports cameras will be one of the key evenings this season.

So have you got your breath back yet then?!
