Bungay Town 4, Brandon Town 0

The Black Dogs moved up to fifth in the Anglian Combination division one table with this clear-cut win.

Another clean sheet means the only goal they've conceded in the past four games is the penalty to Holt last week.

The result could have been different, though if Brandon had taken some golden chances, and the home defence had to defend resolutely on occasions.

In the ninth minute James Wightman recovered to make an amazing goal-line clearance and a minute later Bungay were ahead.

Alex Shreeve won the ball well in the area and although he was unable to get in a shot he played it back for Jayden Dance to rifle home.

Brandon Ling took one Brandon effort low down before Bungay made it 2-0 in the 15th minute.

Ling came out to take a free-kick near the halfway line and Oli Alexander got there before the keeper to touch it on to the bar and then head in the rebound.

Three minutes later it was 3-0, Liam Williams finishing well after Dance had got to the byline and pulled the ball back.

Jack Child grazed the bar with another shot, Shreeve just failed to get to a low cross from Dance after a great crossfield pass from Connor Doddington and Child was just too late to a Shreeve's cross.

But three minutes into the second half it was 4-0 as Tom Leuenberger got the final touch after Jackson Williams' free kick had caused havoc in the Brandon defence.

That was the end of the scoring but Ling made three fine saves and Shreeve had a header cleared off the line.
