Having avoided relegation by finishing outside the bottom two the Bulls will now be competing in the Eastern Counties Division One Bowl.

They have eight more games coming up against the teams who finished third and fourth from bottom in the two other local leagues, covering the west and south of the region.

Beccles’ first challenge is a home match against Cantabrigian Seconds at Beef Meadow on Saturday week. They also face games at home and away against Brightlingsea and Sudbury Seconds.

The cold and snow didn’t stop Beccles U13s playing some great open rugby at West Norfolk. The forwards dominated and this provided the backs with plenty of ball to run in some super team tries. Player-of-the-match was Tyler who was rampant in attack and defence.
