Jon Wiles was the first Bungay Black Dog runner home among a bumper club entry for the annual Beccles Turkey Trot race last weekend.

Bungay Black Dog Running Club members filled a bumper 59 places among the full to capacity event.

Golf: On a bitterly cold day at Beccles Golf Club, with hard ground conditions causing all sorts of difficulties, Paul Cook turned in a gritty display that proved too good for the chasing pack.

claiming victory by a clear five points.

Cook’s Stableford victory was even more impressive as he was returning to competition having not competed since early autumn.
