Renditions of songs from The Jam’s back catalogue are set to bring Mod mania to The Aquarium next month.

From the Jam featuring former The Jam bassist Bruce Foxton, legendary vocalist & guitarist Russell Hastings and drummer Mike Randon, are celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Jam’s debut album In The City with a special series of shows.

And this April the band will be performing a selection of songs from the album as well The Jam’s greatest hits at The Aquarium, Lowestoft on April 21.

Having celebrated the Jam’s musical legacy by touring the classic albums All Mod Cons, Setting Sons and Sound Affects, Bruce Foxton and co are back with a set featuring all of the greatest hits.

Bruce Foxton’s latest album Smash The Clock, released in May 2016 was co-written with From The Jam band mate Russell Hastings and featured guest appearances from Paul Weller, Wilko Johnson and Paul Jones.

The album debuted in the UK Top 40 chart and was recorded at Paul Weller’s Black Barn studios.

Fans can expect to hear all the band’s well-known tracks including Going Underground, Eton Rifles, That’s Entertainment, A Town Called Malice and Saturday’s Kids.

The Jam exploded onto the punk scene in 1977 delivering their ferocious mission statement - debut single In The City – and in 1978 released their third album All Mod Cons.

They became the sound of the British youth and one of the biggest selling bands in British history.

In 2000, Q magazine placed All Mod Cons at Number 50 in its list of the 100 Greatest British Albums Ever and From The Jam’s live performance is set to bring to life the much-loved songs of the band.

Also at The Aquarium this March will be English singer songwriter Lloyd Cole playing the classic Lloyd Cole songbook from 1983 to 1996.

Performance takes place on Sunday March 26 from 7.30pm tickets are £22 each.
