Wymondham Rotary Club’s 42nd Art Exhibition and Sale in aid of charities

Wymondham Rotary Club’s 42nd Art Exhibition and Sale will be held in Wymondham Central Hall from March 22 to 25.
This showcase for local artists to exhibit and sell their work has nearly 400 entries.
The event starts with a ticket-only preview on Thursday, March 22, at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £3 – call 01692 631345. Special guest is Professor Arthur Lucas, chairman of Wymondham Arts Centre.
On the Friday and Saturday, it will be open to everyone, 9.30am-6pm and on Sunday, 9.30am-1pm. Entry £1.
Proceeds to East Anglian Air Ambulance and Macmillan Cancer Care.
Rodney Storey, from the Rotary Club, said: “This is a very popular event as it gives local artists a chance to exhibit. It also allows the Rotary Club to raise funds for specific charities.“

Waveney Light Opera Group (WLOG) may have just finished a sell-out performance of Singing in the Rain but they are already gearing up for their next production which will take them in a totally different direction.
The Old Time Radio Club are presenting Bram Stokers Gothic horror classic “Dracula” as a radio play on Friday, October 31, at Burgh St Peter Village Hall to mark Halloween.
There’s a busy weekend of contrasting entertainment coming up soon at the Beccles Public Hall starting on Saturday, October 25, with the mammoth clothes sale from 10am to noon and it’s free entry. The sale of good second-hand clothes is supported by Simone of Cloves Dress Agency, Beccles and Hall members thank her very much for this invaluable help with fundraising for the Public Hall.
