An art trail in its 10th year is making a highly anticipated return with a central theme to boost morale against the "challenges" of life.
The Raveningham Sculpture Trail, near Beccles, returns to the wild gardens of the Raveningham Centre in south Norfolk.
Curator Sarah Cannell has invited artists from across the country to respond to the theme of ‘Amplify The Positive’, encouraging participants to share their joy of creativity and making with the summer audience.
Sarah Cannell, curator of the Sculpture Trail said: “I chose the theme Amplify The Positive because I was thinking about the function of artists in society and in particular with regard to the many challenges we face in the world at the moment.
"Both on a global and personal scale, from climate change to the cost of living, mental health issues, and the effects of the pandemic.
"I wanted to see where our sculpture trail fits within that, we are all part of the same world, and the unique skills that all artists have is that they are able to notice and amplify even the smallest things in life and make them beautiful or thought-provoking or even funny."

This is the first sculpture trail which will be running for seven weeks rather than six weeks, from Wednesday, July 19 - Sunday, Sept 3 - open 10-5 pm.
The event curator said: "Our job as artists is to keep making things, art is for everyone, art is made by people for people because we all need inspiration and joy in our lives.
"I can’t wait to welcome visitors to experience the exceptional pieces and artists that we are presenting this year over our longer 7-week sculpture trail.”
