A woman harassed by her neighbour told court she lived in fear of what he might do.

Nicholas Cradock-Watson, 68, targeted the woman after she and her boyfriend moved into the flat below him at Gainsborough Drive in Halesworth in July 2023.

His “very persistent” three-month campaign of harassment saw him shout and scream through her letterbox at all times and stare at her from his window.

Norwich Magistrates’ Court heard on one occasion he told her she needed plastic surgery while on another he said he was a “psychopath”.

“She didn’t know what he meant by that,” the court was told.

In a statement the victim said: “I had nightmares about him being in my flat. I was scared about what he might do.”

The pensioner pleaded guilty to harassment.
