HOWARD SPENCER EDWARD Of Wainford House, Beccles, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 27th, 2023, aged 90 years. Much loved husband of the late Pam, loving dad and grandad. Funeral service to take place at All Saints Church, Worlingham on Monday, January 15th, 2024 at 10.45 a.m., followed by committal at Waveney Crematorium at 12 noon. Family flowers only, but donations may be given, if desired, for Beccles War Memorial Hospital, which may be given at the service. Funeral arrangements are by Central Co-op Pakefield, 1 Terminus Building, Pakefield Street, Lowestoft, NR33 0JT. Tel. (01502) 519550.

My mother-in-law was at Wainford House for much of the time Spencer was there so we often saw and spoke to him, and once even took him to see the Christmas tree festival at Hungate and for tea and cake afterwards! He was a true gentleman and loved having visits from our grandson too. We are thinking of you all at this sad time, Helen and Paul
