DAVID ROGERS

ROGERS DAVID Passed away peacefully on January 21st, 2024, aged 88 years. Dearly loved husband to Barbara (deceased) and Ruth (deceased) and adored father to 10 children (Rogers and Matthews) and 13 grandchildren. He was much loved by pupils he taught Science at Beccles Secondary Modern School from 1964 and later Beccles Middle School. He will be remembered fondly by those he played jazz with in many local bands. The funeral service will take place at St Michael's Church, Beccles on Tuesday, February 20th, 2024 at 1.30 p.m. The family request no flowers please, but donations for the charity RNIB would be most gratefully accepted. Very sorry to hear this sad news, I have very fond memories of his science class, he was such a kind and caring person, he made lessons fun and interesting. There's always one teacher that stands out, and that you remember, he was mine.
