SOMEONE stole 200 litres of diesel from the fuel tank of a lorry parked on the forecourt of business premises in Ellough Road, Beccles, between 6pm last Friday and 6am on Monday.

Someone broke into the site and broke off the fuel cap of the lorry to steal the fuel. In order to move this amount it is thought around eight five-gallon drums would have been needed.

Did you see a vehicle capable of carrying a similar amount of drums in the area over the weekend? Anyone with information about the theft or those responsible is asked to call Sgt 1218 Howell on 01986 835300.
