A LONG-awaited 13-home housing development in a south Norfolk village could still go ahead.
Outline planning permission has been renewed for the building nine open market houses and four affordable homes in Woodton, south Norfolk.
The two, three and four bedroom homes at The Beeches in Triple Plea Road would be a mixture of single and two storey buildings. One house would be demolished to make way for the new homes.
The site has a history of failed and expired planning applications for development. Applicants were given outline planning permission in 2005, after their original planning consent had expired in 2002. Now, their outline permission has been renewed by South Norfolk Council.
Members of the council's planning committee voted unanimously in favour of the development, with conditions attached.
