THE public inquiry into the application by Tesco to build a store in Halesworth is to continue.
A planning inspector will make a decision on the bid by the supermarket giant, which wants to open a store off Angel Link.
Representatives from opposition group Save Halesworth, Waveney District Council and Anglia Regional Co-op Society have recommended that the application is refused.
The inquiry, which has been held at the Orbis Centre in Lowestoft, was due to be completed yesterday but will return for a final day on June 7 for closing submissions and a site visit.
