The Friends of St Michael’s Church in Beccles will be running a bric-a-brac stall in Exchange Square tomorrow from 8.30am to 12.30pm.

The group will also be holding a stall in the market place next Friday, March 27, where members will be selling individual Simnel cakes, biscuits, preserves and plants. There will be a raffle to win a large Simnel cake, and tickets, which cost £1, will be available at the group’s weekly Friday coffee morning in the Undercroft of St Michael’s Church, or from Di Molineaux. The draw will take place next Friday during their coffee morning where tea, coffee and homemade cakes will be available from 10am to noon.

All proceeds will go to the group’s South Porch Appeal. So far they have raised £28,000 and would like to thank everyone for their support, but still need to raise £47,000 to reach £75,000. To join the group or to donate contact Pam Bontoft at 1 St Benedict’s Close, Toft Monks, NR34 0HN.
