Fundraisers from the Lowestoft-based Lauren Lou appeal, which continues to raise money and awareness in aid of cancer charities and worthy local causes, have been boosted by a recent collection.
Last Friday, December 22, the group held a street collection and Tombola stall in Beccles.
Gary Bennett, from the Lauren Lou appeal, said: 'We raised the fantastic total of £602.73 in only four hours of collecting for our cancer appeals fund, which helps local people.
'Thank you to my awesome volunteers over the past year and thank you to the very kind donating public. We wish everyone a Happy New Year.'
