Suffolk is a beautiful county with an endless amount of pretty places waiting to be discovered.
From forests to beaches and country parks to open fields, Suffolk's landscapes are a joy to behold and a spectacular view is never too far away.
Here are just seven of our favourite places to photograph in the county...
1. Rendlesham Forest
Rendlesham Forest is the gift that keeps on giving for picture takers in Suffolk.
Each season, the forest will take on a different appearance, with deep greens in spring and summer that fade to brown as autumn and winter approaches.
2. Southwold
Southwold is one of the most picturesque towns in Suffolk and there's no shortage of pretty things around the town.
Some standouts are the unique beach huts that sit in front of the sandy beach and the sea beyond.
3. Alton Water
Alton Water has an eight mile perimeter and each step presents a new photo opportunity.
On your way around, you might just encounter some four-legged friends who are incredibly photogenic.
4. Shingle Street
There aren't many prettier places than Shingle Street beach with its lagoons and sweeping landscape.
As sunset falls over the beach, the light often reflects off the lagoons, creating a golden photo opportunity.
5. Landguard Fort
When exploring Landguard Fort, look over to the Port of Felixstowe for a stunning view.
This Suffolk landmark is best picture in the early morning glow or as the sun starts to set, as the lights of the port are like stars against the coming or going darkness.
6. Orwell Country Park
Don't forget your camera when wandering through Orwell Country Park.
As you emerge onto the banks of the River Orwell, the looming bridge is dying to be photographed and creates a great picture when a little bit of everything fills the frame.
7. Little Bealings
A real hidden gem is the village of Little Bealings near Woodbridge.
Here, Suffolk's famous fields are on full display and the occasional poppy can be seen flowering here.
