A car was damaged during an attempted overnight theft.

Police are seeking witnesses and are appealing for information in connection with the attempted theft from a car in Beccles.

A police spokesman said: "An attempt was made to force open a vehicle in Mulberry Close sometime between 4.30pm on Tuesday, January 17 and 6.45am on Wednesday, January 18.

"Nothing was stolen from inside however a rear side window and windscreen were damaged.

"Can you help?"
