Beccles Town Council is organising a free event for local voluntary organisations to help them publicise their activities and recruit new members and volunteers.

The event is on Saturday, March, 18, from 10 am to 2pm at Blyburgate Hall, Blyburgate, NR34 9TF.

It is an opportunity for residents to find out about what is on offer in terms of clubs and societies for themselves and their families.

Town mayor, Barry Darch, said: “We hope that this will be a great opportunity to share information about the various voluntary groups for adults and children that we have in the town.

"We know that many groups are currently seeking to recruit volunteers and members. It’s a good time of year to think about trying something new.”

To find out more, contact town clerk Paul Cunningham at 01502 712109, paul.cunningham@becclestowncouncil.gov.uk or call in at the town hall.

Clubs, societies or other organisations which are interested in having a stall at the event or a space to display are asked to contact Helen Lower at the town hall: helen.lower@becclestowncouncil.gov or 01502 712109.
