A new charity with ambitious plans to bring music, radio and production opportunities to Waveney has been officially launched.
There was a launch party for New Rock on February 17 at St Mary's church in Ditchingham, which featured a meet-and-greet session and a live performance from the band Darren Jones and the World.
The charity, which has international connections, is based at an office in the village.
Gavin Gardener, the charity's manager, said: "We are delighted to be a charitable organisation officially.
"We are operated and funded by our amazing volunteer team, and our aim is to build an extensive supportive artistic network as a foundation to local projects within our local area.
"We want to help people escape their troubles, try new things, get involved, learn a skill, help people, and at our organisation, we have so many opportunities for people.
"We have a group of like-minded musicians from across the globe working together and supporting each other to help other people develop, that is how we work."
The group organised a performance by Jade Williams from the BBC's The Voice in Bungay in October.
Mr Gardener said "this was just the start".
He said: "We have really ambitious guests lined up for the coming year and we can't wait to bring big names to the town.
"All tickets will be capped at a low price as we want our events to be as accessible as possible."

New Rock is also planning to launch a radio station called Black Dog Radio.
Mr Gardener said: "We have the equipment and facilities, it is now just about arranging the nitty gritty stuff ahead of launching.
"We invite anyone who wishes to get involved in any of our projects or has any questions to get in touch."
