Roadworks are once again taking place in key routes across Suffolk this week including the A14.

Here are some roadworks you may want to plan your journeys around this week:

A14

The next round of road closures on the A14 have been revealed. 

The A14 will be closed overnights between  junctions 43 at Bury St Edmunds and 51 at Needham Market until Monday, April 17.

Butts Road, Playford

Butts Road will be closed between 9.30am and 3pm on Monday while Anglian Water carry out essential roadworks. 

While the road is closed a five and a half mile diversion route will be in place which is expected to take around 15 minutes to complete. 

Laxfield Road, Fressingfield

Laxfield Road in Fressingfield will be closed between 6.30am and 3pm on Sunday, March 26 while essential roadworks are carried out by Openreach. 

While the road is closed a 27-mile diversion route will be in place, which is expected to take about an hour to complete. 

Beccles Road, Sotherton 

Beccles Road in Sotherton will be closed until March 28 while Cadent carry out important works. 

A seven-mile diversion route will be in place while the road is closed and is expected to add on around 10 minutes to people's journeys. 

North Hill, Rushbrooke

North Hill in Rushbrooke just outside Bury St Edmunds will be closed until Thursday. 

While the road is closed a four-mile diversion route will be in place which should take around 10 minutes to complete.
