Marsh ponies have returned to Beccles for a second year to gallop through the town and onto its common.

A herd of painted ponies has formed a trail around Beccles town centre and more are to be found on the common.

The art project has returned for a second year and has been created by artists Sarah Cannell and Grace Adam with help from Beccles Men's Shed and workshops with local primary and high schools.

The town trail is 2.5km and takes about 40 mins to walk, and the trail on the common from the train station is 2km and takes about 30 mins to walk.

Follow the map below to guide you on your walk and visitors can collect free printed maps from Beccles Library or Beccles Bookshop.

There is also an arts fair in the town centre on Saturday, April 8 from 10am - 4pm.

The art fair will be hosting over 15 local artists and there will be music and dancing in the town.
