The family of a motorcyclist who died in a crash on the A12 has paid their tributes to him.
Emergency services were called at about 7.30pm on Thursday, May 25 to reports of a two-vehicle collision between a motorbike and a stationary van near the A145 junction at Blythburgh, near Southwold.
The motorcyclist, a 29-year-old man, died at the scene.
Subject to confirmation at formal inquest proceedings, the deceased has been identified as Alexander Wilford from Worlingham.
Suffolk police has now released a tribute to him on his family's behalf.
It read: "Alex was a man full of ideas and possibilities, he had a beautiful soul and made the world a better place by being here.
"Alex lived in Worlingham and worked all over Suffolk.
"For most of his working life, he was a knowledgeable and passionate tree surgeon.
"Recently Alex diversified into the world of vehicle recovery and in April this year he fulfilled his dream and started up his own business, Aqua Trad.
"Alex was a wonderful partner, son, uncle and friend.
"He is missed immensely by his partner Rachel, his mum and dad and everyone else whose lives he touched and has so many happy memories of him."
Police are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to the fatal collision to come forward, along with anyone driving in the area just prior to the incident who has a dashcam in their vehicle.
Anyone with information related to the crash is being asked to contact the Joint Norfolk & Suffolk Serious Collision Investigation Unit, quoting reference number 37/30341/23.
