A Norfolk pub has put in application to build a solar "array" on its neighbouring field.

The Swan Motel in Gillingham, near Beccles, is seeking permission from the Broads Authority to develop on 100 square metres of land.

The Environment Agency is happy that the development would not pose a risk to the flood risk assessment area.

The Broads Authority will make a decision in due course.
