A Loddon-based high school is celebrating its students' hard work across the year as they collected their GCSE results.

Head of Hobart High School, Ross Li-Rocchi said: "Congratulations to the Hobart class of 2023 who have demonstrated that hard work, effort and persistence bring just rewards.

"It was a privilege to share in their achievements and see so many smiles on their faces.

"Thank you to all the staff and families who supported youngsters with their GCSE studies, particularly during the intense exam period.

"We wish students every success in the next steps of their journeys."

Nearby Langley School was also proud of its students' "resilience" as they collected their grades today.

Headmaster, Jon Perriss, said: “This cohort have shown remarkable resilience and perseverance over the past few years and are to be warmly congratulated for both their effort and the hugely positive outcomes they have achieved.

"Their hard work, and support from teachers and parents, have given them choices in the near and distant future and I look forward to seeing them continue to flourish.”
