London’s longest-running magic show is on tour - and it’s coming to Beccles.
The show is one of the West End’s top attractions featuring the best in magic, illusion, mind-reading, comedy, juggling, glamour and variety.
Called West End Magic, the show has been at the Leicester Square Theatre for the past 10 years. To celebrate the decade it is now on a nationwide tour, including a two-hour show at Beccles Public Hall on Saturday, September 30 at 7.30pm.
Every show is compered by comedy magician Wayne Trice, described as a 'master of close-up magic'.
Each performance also stars multi-award-winning magician and Magic Circle member Oliver Tabor, who is the current president of the International Brotherhood of Magicians in the UK and a former European and British magic champion.
Mr Tabor said: “The show is all about variety and being family-friendly.
"Anyone from a toddler to a 100-year-old will enjoy it which is what variety is all about.
“We have one mission with this show and that’s to entertain in a way the audience has never been entertained before.
"You’ll see things that’ll make your jaw drop, but there’s also fun and comedy.
"We want people to leave happy and chatting about the show knowing they’ve seen something unique, something they’ll always remember.”
Every show on the tour will feature a special guest act and the one at Beccles will be magician and balloon twister Steve Majes who is known as The Tricky Twister and lives in Lowestoft, just 10 miles from Beccles.

Mr Majes graduated from the Davenport School of Magic in London and worked as a demonstrator and maker of tricks at Davenports Magic Shop in Charing Cross before becoming a Butlins red coat, and then worked for several holiday companies developing his stage performances.
He took his first illusion show on the road in 1996 touring holiday parks around the country and has done lots of performances at schools and other events in the Beccles area.
