A country pub has announced its imminent closure and slashed the price of its drinks ahead of the closing date.
The owners of the Artichoke in Broome, Colin and Alison Nicholas, told patrons on social media that its last day would be January 14.
A heartfelt message read: "It is with sad regret we have decided to shut the pub.
"We would like to thank all the customers for our seven years here."
They added that real ales would be reduced to £2.50 per pint and lager would be sold at £3 before closing.
Members of the public voiced their sadness at the news, saying the business was an important part of the local area and it brought many entertainment offerings to the village in the form of live music and events.

Under previous owners, The Artichoke was voted the 2009 CAMRA Norfolk Pub of the Year and recently it was voted one of the best pubs to get a roast dinner at in Norfolk by our readers.
Last summer, the pub clawed back a four-star hygiene rating after it was given one out of five stars.
To address the problem, the Nicholas' ordered a full refurbishment of their kitchen and made improvements to its functionality.
