Police are continuing to investigate a collision between a motorist and an electric bike rider who was left with life-changing injuries.

Police were called to the B1062 near the Maisebrook Farm Shop on the Beccles-Bungay road at about 7pm on October 9, after the driver of a grey Seat collided with a man in his 30s on an electric bike.

An air ambulance was called to the scene, and the rider of the e-bike was taken to Norfolk and Norwich Hospital for treatment. 

A Suffolk Police spokesperson has said: "There have been no arrests following this collision.

"Police continue to investigate to establish the circumstances."

The road was initially closed while the emergency services made the area safe, and reopened in the early hours of the following morning. 

Police would particularly like to speak to the driver of a van that officers believe may have witnessed the collision.
