Plans have been submitted to build a three bedroom home with parking in the garden area of an Ipswich property.
The application relates to a new build in Halifax Road.
According to a design and access statement prepared by the Kesgrave-based Patrick Allen & Associates Architects, several other properties in the area have also had “infill” homes constructed.
The new home would, it said, provide for “a modest three-bedroom dwelling”.
It continued: “The new dwelling provides for typical family accommodation including living room, hall, kitchen/dining room, family bathroom and 3 bedrooms. The principal rooms have been orientated to enjoy the private rear gardens.”
Floor plans show that all three bedrooms will be located on the upper floor, one of which would have its own ensuite bathroom.
Two vehicle parking spaces would also be provided.
Ipswich Borough Council sets an automatic eight-week target date for a decision on all applications it receives, and has given this proposal a date of June 25.
