Bungay's Emmanuel Church is swapping hymn books for guitars as it welcomes a Rock Gospel event.
The church in Great Olland Street is preparing to host Stephen Lynn's Magical Music Machine on Saturday, August 31, at 7.30pm.
Stephen Lynn, a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and recording artist, aims to bring 'the Gospel alive through music' with influences from the likes of ABBA, the Police and Kylie Minogue.
He said: "My main objectives are always to make the Gospel come alive through my music, and to make sure that the audience have a good time."

Mr Lynn's concerts have free admission, but the host churches are free to gather donations for charity.
"The message is far more important than anything else, and I don't want anyone to feel excluded because of the price," he said.
"Plus which, I can honestly say that no one has ever asked for their money back."
