The Beccles Friends of Cancer Research UK is again inviting the public to attend an afternoon of entertainment.

A charity 1940s themed afternoon tea event will be held next Wednesday, June 13 at Beccles Public Hall, with the entertainment starting at 3pm.

A spokesman for the Beccles Friends of Cancer Research said: “We are again inviting you to spend a few hours enjoying afternoon tea, along with entertainment by the very popular Company D - a mother and daughter singing 1940s style music.”

This is the third time that the Friends have organised this type of event “as it has always proved so enjoyable.”

There are still a few tickets available costing £6 per person. Doors open from 2.30pm with the entertainment starting at 3pm. Tickets can be bought by contacting Rosie on 01502 716431.
