The East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) was called to Bungay yesterday afternoon after a woman in her early 80s suffered a cardiac arrest.
The air ambulance arrived on scene just before 2.30pm.
Dr Vicky Smith and critical care paramedic Ben Caine worked with the land ambulance crew to treat and resuscitate the patient.
The EAAA medics then escorted the patient to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
The patient is said to be in a serious but stable condition.
