POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an altercation between two groups of males in a car park in Halesworth.

The altercation happened at Angel Link Road in Halesworth around 7.

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an altercation between two groups of males in a car park in Halesworth.

The altercation happened at Angel Link Road in Halesworth around 7.40pm on Tuesday.

Officers attended following reports of a fight and a 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray. He has now been bailed to return to Lowestoft Police Station on June 29, pending further enquiries.

Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time who saw the incident to call PC 592 Andrzejewski on 01986 835300.
