A car has been damaged after stones were thrown from the side of a road in Suffolk.
Suffolk Constabulary were called out to Beccles at 1.00pm yesterday, August 1, after receiving a report of stones being thrown at traffic in the morning.
A handful of stones were thrown at a Ford Fusion by an unknown person from a garden which backed onto the road.
A driver's windscreen was cracked in the incident which took place at approximately 10.40am on Ellough Road, near the junction of Hillside Avenue.
The incident is not believed to be linked to a spate of incidents where items were thrown at cars on the Norfolk and Suffolk border earlier this summer, a police spokesperson confirmed.
