The boxes, outside the post office and Martins newsagents in Beccles, on Newgate near the junction with Ravensmere and another opposite the church in nearby Shipmeadow, had their doors broken off and have had to be temporarily repaired with tape.
It happened between 5pm on Friday and 6am on Saturday. No post was stolen from the box outside the post office in Beccles, but it is not known whether anything was taken from the other two. The postboxes were emptied at the end of the day on Friday, but any post left later that evening could have been taken.
Police are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact them. They would particularly like to speak to two males seen in Beccles around 2am on Saturday who may have information. One wore a black sweatshirt with white writing on the front and a white square on the back.
