Arrests after dinghy thefts in Beccles

Two 17-year-old boys have been arrested after two dinghies were recovered at Puddingmoor in Beccles around 9pm on Tuesday night. Police were contacted by a member of the public just after 9pm reporting that youths had landed a boat on their land from the river.

BECCLES: Two 17-year-old boys have been arrested after two dinghies were recovered at Puddingmoor around 9pm on Tuesday. Police were contacted by a member of the public just after 9pm reporting that youths had brought a boat on their land from the river. Officers attended and subsequently arrested the two youths on suspicion of theft.

Both were taken into custody at Lowestoft police station and were interviewed by officers.
